Miss Deidra is the Program Director at the Creations Janet Johnstone program. She joined us in May 2023, and became the Program Director in 2024. She is a level 3 Early Childhood Educator, graduating from Bow Valley College in Early Childhood Education. Early Education was Deidra’s first step to learning more about brain development in the early years and the impact we have as childcare workers. Deidra wanted to work in childcare because of her interest in education and inspiring children's desire to learn and discover as well as their development. Outside of Education, Deidra loves to perform and be a part of the theatre community in Calgary she has performed in 3 musicals over the last year. Deidra has lived in Calgary her entire life but loves to travel; she hopes her next destination will be Greece or Italy.
